I am a Treasure Island, Florida, based entertainer with over 40 years in the music business as a performer, writer, arranger and studio musician.
I am, basically, a "one man band" playing live
guitar, flute and vocals with all original, fully sequenced background tracks including
piano, drums, bass, strings, horns, guitar and backing vocals.
My song list contains music of most all types...easy listening,
classic rock, blues, island, light jazz instrumentals, ballads and dance music... 40's through 80's, Buffett to Miles, Elvis to Elton, Eagles to Beatles, Joel to Sinatra, plus a few originals as well.
In 2004 I won the Weekly planet's Best Instrumentalist poll and in 2005 I won the Best of the Beaches Entertainer poll.
Since relocating in Florida from my home
in Wisconsin in 1993 I've performed at the
Seawatch Lounge of the Holiday Inn on Treasure Island for 11 years, a year and a half at the
Kingfish Restaurant's Piano Bar, and for
five years at the
Moon Under Water in downtown St. Petersburg.
In 2006 and 2007 I played the baby grand at
My Place on the Beach in Indian Rocks Beach. I've also performed at numerous private parties and civic functions as well as at the
Treasure Island Tennis and Yacht Club, St
Pete Yacht club in Pass-a-Grille,
the Sunset Vista Condo Hotel, at the Peppermill restaurant in
Clearwater and at Bazzie's Beach Bar
as well as Sloppy Joe's in the Bilmar
Hotel. Now and then I can be found performing at
the American Legion and Elk's Clubs.
